This page explains how Quota Desk (“the app”) and its download site (k386.sub.jp/QuotaDesk/) handle data, and sets out the disclaimer. If this English version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Data the app stores

Retrieved quotas, reset times, retrieval times, chart history, and settings are stored only on your Mac, in these locations:

  • ~/Library/Application Support/QuotaDesk
  • ~/Library/Application Support/com.duca.QuotaDesk
  • ~/Library/Group Containers/62JU4MHLK6.com.duca.QuotaDesk (dashboard.json, shared with the widgets)

Per-conversation activity handles only information such as project name, model, and state. Conversation text and prompts are not saved.

2. Network access by the app

The app connects to the network in only these three cases. It sends no usage telemetry.

  1. Quota queries: every 5 minutes and when a service starts or stops, the app asks each service for quota information through the official Codex and Antigravity tools on this Mac. You can choose which services to query under “services to show” in Settings.
  2. Claude Web integration: only if you choose to use it, the app loads the usage page on claude.ai. Disconnecting the Web integration removes the sign-in data kept by the app.
  3. Update checks and downloads: at launch and every 24 hours, the app checks this site’s update feed (appcast.xml), and downloads the DMG when you choose to update. No system profile is sent. Automatic checks can be turned off in Settings.

3. Integration with AI services

  • For Codex and Antigravity, the app makes read-only queries to official tools running on the same Mac, or to Antigravity’s endpoint if you allow it. Antigravity connection details are kept only in memory and are never saved or sent anywhere.
  • If you use the Claude Code (terminal) integration, the app edits Claude Code’s status line setting (~/.claude/settings.json). Disconnecting restores it.
  • Sign-in data for the Claude Web integration stays in a WebKit storage area used only by this app. Cookies and tokens are never written to files or to the area shared with widgets.

4. Site statistics

To help run the site, it counts page views and downloads. IP addresses are not stored. To avoid double counting, it uses only an identifier that changes daily and cannot be reversed, and deletes it after 2 days. No external advertising or analytics services (such as Google Analytics) are used.

5. Automatic updates

From 0.2.0, the app includes Sparkle 2.10.0, an open-source update framework. It verifies the digital signatures of the update feed and DMG before replacing the app. Updates are installed only when you choose to.

6. Disclaimer

  • The app is provided as is, without any guarantee of accuracy, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from defects.
  • Remaining quotas, reset times, and forecasts are reference values from the time they were retrieved. Changes to a service, network conditions, or account status may prevent correct retrieval. Before billing or other important decisions, also check each service’s official page.
  • The operator is not liable for any damage (including data loss, device failure, or business interruption) arising from using, or being unable to use, the app or this site.
  • The app is not an official app from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
  • Files obtained from anywhere other than this site are not supported.
